With five nationally ranked wrestlers and a No. 18 team ranking (NWCA) for the second straight week, Kent State will head to Ithaca, N.Y. Saturday (Nov. 21) for the Body Bar Invitational hosted by Cornell.

The first Mid-American Conference Wrestler of the Week honor for the 2009-10 season went to Kent State's Dustin Kilgore Wednesday. A redshirt sophomore, Kilgore has already claimed the award three times in his career.

Sophomore Dustin Kilgore (184) and senior Danny Mitcheff (133) each had milestone days as they both improved 6-0 after winning championships at the Oklahoma Gold Tournament at Tuttle North Gymnasium on Saturday.

No. 18 Kent State will be one of four NWCA Top 20 teams competing this weekend at the 11th Oklahoma Gold Tournament in Brockport, N.Y. Sixteen Golden Flashes will compete against eight other squads including No. 3 Ohio State, No. 13 Edinboro and No. 16 Oklahoma.
