2006 Junior Season

Started all 12 regular season contests for the Golden Flashes at defensive tackle...ranked in the top 10 of the team with 45 total tackles; 24 solo stops and a pair of sacks...broke up one pass, collected four quarterback hurries and forced a fumble...matched career-high with eight stops in season finale at Ball State (Nov. 24) and at Army (Sept. 9)...collected a season-high five solo tackles at Temple on Oct. 7.

2005 Sophomore Season

Appeared in all 11 games and made nine starts, including each of the first five games of the season...was eighth on the team with 51 total tackles...posted the second-most tackles for a loss on the team with 13...also had 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble...posted a career-best eight tackles against Buffalo Nov. 12...picked up seven tackles the previous week against Bowling Green Nov. 5, of which 2.5 were for a loss...made five tackles, including a career-best three tackles for a loss, against Miami Sept. 17...had six stops (two TFL) at Eastern Michigan Oct. 1...was voted the team’s most improved defensive player following the season.

2004 Redshirt Freshman Season

Saw action in all 11 games, making his first career start against Eastern Michigan Nov. 13...made 19 total tackles on the season, including seven for losses and had two sacks...made a season-high seven stops against Eastern Michigan...had three tackles, including 1.5 sacks in season finale at UCF Nov. 23...batted down a pass against Iowa Sept. 4.

2003 Freshman Season

Was redshirted...moved from defensive tackle to offensive guard in mid-season to provide depth and was on the team’s travel squad.

Prior to Kent State

Attended the Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J., in the fall of 2002 and earned second-team all-prep honors...was named to the all-state third team as a senior at Steinert High School in 2001...also received all-area and All-Colonial Valley Conference honors...was named the CVC’s top lineman...had 61 tackles and seven sacks...helped the Spartans to back-to-back 8-2 records his junior and senior seasons...was coached by Frank Gatto...earned three letters each in football and track.
