2008: Started 54
games...earned 2008 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year Award as
well as All-MAC First Team honors...was named to the Louisville Slugger
All-American Team... his 20 homerun season was the second best single
season output all time at Kent State...finished the regular season
leading the MAC with 19 homeruns, 58 RBI and a .772 slugging
percentage...had three different hitting streaks lasting at least eight
games...drove in three or more runs nine different times... named MAC
East Player of the Week (4/28)...in a three-game series vs. Ohio
(4/25-27) went 5-for-11 at the plate, belting four homeruns and driving
in six runs...led Kent State vs. Akron (5/9-11) by going 7-13 at the
plate while hitting three homeruns and driving in seven runs...went
5-13 throughout the MAC Tournament including one homerun and three RBI.
2007: Started
58 games for the Golden Flashes...led the team in runs (47) and home
runs (12)...had 62 hits in 227 at bats for a .273 average...named to
the All-MAC First Team as a designated hitter...earned MAC East Player
of the Week accolades 4/30...in a KSU three-game sweep of Ohio
(4/27-29), went 6-11 from the plate with three home runs, two doubles
and 7 RBI...scored what proved to be the winning run on a solo shot in
the eighth inning against Miami in the second round of the MAC
tournament (5/24)...Went 4-5 from the plate with three runs and two RBI
against Miami (4/21).
2006: Missed season due to injury.
2005:
Played in 32 games and started 16... Batted .283 with 14 RBI and a .421
on-base percentage... Scored 10 runs and hit three doubles... Went
3-for-5 mithe three RBI and a run scored at Youngstown State (5/17)...
Was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored vs. Long Island (3/18)

named All-Ohio as a senior at South Range High School... Was a
four-time All-Inter County League pick... Selected to play in The Vindicator and
Mizuno All-Star games... Set school records with a .474 career average,
14 home runs and 108 RBI... Helped team to four straight ICL crowns...
Earned four varsity letters in baseball and two in football... Was
coached by Dan Stolek.
