Redshirt junior cross country runner Michael Heller (Stow, Ohio) has been named the Kent State Student-Athlete of the Week.

Heller finished fifth on the men's side with a time of 24:44 in the 8k to highlight Kent State cross country's day at the Spartan Invitational last Friday (Sept. 16) at Michigan State's Forest Akers East Golf Course.

Kent State closes out the September portion of its 2011 schedule in two weeks, journeying to Cedarville, Ohio, to participate in the All-Ohio Championships.
