Freshman soccer forward Stephanie Haugh (Richmond Hill, Ontario) has been named the Kent State Student-Athlete of the Week.
Haugh scored her first collegiate goal Friday in Kent State's 6-1 win over Youngstown State Sept. 9, a score that proved to be the game-winning strike for the Golden Flashes. Then, two days later at Duquesne, Haugh scored the game's lone goal in Kent State's 1-0 regulation win.
The Golden Flashes close out non-conference action Friday (Sept. 16), hosting IUPUI in a 4 p.m. battle at Zoeller Field.
