Former track, football letter winner tabbed for Kent State Athletics staff
KENT, Ohio – Greg Keys, a graduate of Kent State University and a former student-athlete for the Golden Flashes, has been named the ticket manager for Kent State Athletics.
As a collegian, Keys was a four-year letter winner in both track and field and football at Kent State. A top competitor in track and field, Keys was a four-year letter winner (2006-07, 2009-10) for the Golden Flashes, where he was a three-time top four finisher at the Mid-American Conference Championships. Keys has the fifth-fastest time in the 60 meter indoor hurdles in team history (8.07).
Keys was also a three-year letter winner in football (2005, 2007-08), where he saw time both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball as a running back and defensive back.
A native of Sandusky, Ohio, the 25-year-old Keys graduated from Kent State in 2010 with a degree in sport administration with a minor in business; he earned his masters degree in sport & recreation management in 2011 from Kent State.
