Kent State University Department of Athletics Donation Policy
The following guidelines govern all donation requests for tickets, apparel and/or paraphernalia made by qualified organizations. A qualified organization is defined as a non-profit entity with particular emphasis on serving youth. We can not accept requests from any high school affiliated organizations (e.g. band boosters, athletic booster groups, PTAs, Student Councils). NCAA rules prohibit college/university athletic departments from participating in fund raising activities that will directly/indirectly benefit students in grades nine through twelve. Donation requests made by for-profit organizations must contact Joe Carr, Manager of Ticket Operations, at 330-672-2244. All requests are individually evaluated based on Kent State University Department of Athletics' criteria herein set forth.
All inquiries must be made on the requesting organization's letterhead and sent to the Athletic Ticket Office at least three weeks prior to designated event. No requests will be accepted over the phone or by a third party. The letter must include the target group, the purpose of the event and a written plan on how the donated item will be distributed.
