Ronnie Ladines retired 36 of 37 batters faced and struck out 19 over 12 innings in the circle and blasted a pair of game-winning home runs to lead the Kent State to a perfect 5-0 week. Ladines threw the third perfect game in school history on Saturday in a game in which her three-run homer broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning. On Friday, she recorded a career-high 15 strikeouts and allowed just one hit in a 1-0 victory. In a mid-week contest at Youngstown State, Ladines belted the game-winning grand slam in the top of the 7th inning to give Kent State a 5-4 victory. She totaled three home runs, eight RBIs and six runs scored.
