KENT, Ohio — Kent State has announced the nine-member 2025 Varsity K Athletics Hall of Fame class, which will be honored as part of the 46th induction ceremony on Feb. 28, 2026. The class includes two Olympians, one NCAA national champion and five All-Americans.

EUGENE, Ore. – Former Kent State All-American Reggie Jagers III claimed his second men's discus throw national title during competition on Saturday at the 2025 USATF Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. Jagers III, who represented the United State of America at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, previously won the event in 2018.
NEW ORLEANS – The Kent State men's and women's track and field teams, along with eight individual student-athletes, received All-Academic honors for the 2025 season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Tuesday.
