Gymnastics Inks One More to 2014 Recruiting Class

KENT, Ohio - Kent State gymnastics coach Brice Biggin has announced the addition of Monica Batton to his 2014 recruiting class.
Batton, a member of Gymnastics World, finished second on vault and fourth all-around at the 2013 Ohio State Championships. She also placed third on floor and seventh all-around at Region 5 regional championships, and qualified to the 2013 Junior Olympic National Championships.
In 2012, Batton captured third on vault at the IGI Chicago Style Classic, third on the uneven bars at the Buckeye Classic and third on the balance beam and vault at Ohio State championships.
