No. 21 Gymnastics Goes 2-1 Friday Night in the M.A.C.

RESULTS
KENT, Ohio – No. 21 Gymnastics picked up two wins and suffered their first loss of the season as they defeated George Washington and Eastern Michigan and fell to No. 16 Rutgers in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (M.A.C.) Center on Friday night.
Kent State (3-1, 1-0 MAC) completed the quad meet on Friday with a score of 194.475 in second place; Rutgers (4-0) took first with a score of 195.250. George Washington (4-2) finished in third with a score of 193.400, as Eastern Michigan (0-3, 0-1 MAC) took fourth with a total of 192.750.
Freshman Olivia Trout tied for first in the balance beam (9.800) with Rutgers' Alexis Gunzelman. Junior Nicole Radon tied for second in floor exercise (9.850) with Chelsea Raineri of George Washington as Trout and Radon were the top two placers for the Golden Flashes.
Senior Marie Case tied for fifth in the vault (9.825) as junior Chelsea Drooger tied for fifth with sophomore Jaymi Baxter and Case in the uneven parallel bars with scores of 9.800. Case finished second in the all-around competition with a final score of 38.725, Luisa Leal from Rutgers took first (39.125).
Kent State next hosts the Wolfpack of North Carolina State on Sunday as part of Kent State's Beauty and the Beast at 2 pm in the M.A.C. Center.
