OXFORD, Ohio – Down a player for most of the match, Kent State (7-3-1, 3-0 MAC) played stellar defense and received a timely goal from Isabelle Mihail, to defeat Miami (0-10, 0-3 MAC) 1-0. In the 55th minute, freshman Isabelle Mihail netted her second game-winning goal of the season, running down the right side and sending her shot inside the near post. Senior Karli Paracca was credited with her third assist on the campaign.
Overall, Kent State led in shots (12-10), shots on goal (6-4) and corner kicks (7-4.)
