Kent State Baseball Podcast With Evan Campbell Debuts

Kent State Baseball Podcast - Episode 1

The Kent State baseball team is offering its fans an insider's view of everything dealing with the Golden Flashes with today's debut of the 'Kent State Baseball Podcast,' co-hosted by junior outfielder Evan Campbell (Beloit, Ohio) and baseball media relations director Mike Ashcraft.

Campbell is entering his third season on the diamond at Kent State, earning Second Team All-Mid-American Conference honors as a freshman second baseman in 2010 and following it up by garnering 2011 MAC All-Tournament accolades as Kent State captured its third straight conference tournament crown and NCAA Championship Regional appearance.

Campbell and Ashcraft will sit down and chat about the team, college baseball and life as well as take a look back at the week that was and preview the weekend ahead for the Flashes. The podcast will also feature a candid interview with a special guest each episode.

This week's inaugural episode features fifth-year senior outfielder Joe Koch (Austintown, Ohio), who enters his senior campaign as a team captain seeking a fourth championship ring. Click here to listen.
