Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast With Evan Campbell - Episode 3 

The Kent State baseball team is offering its fans an insider's view of everything dealing with the Golden Flashes with another episode of the  'Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast,' co-hosted by junior outfielder Evan Campbell (Beloit, Ohio) and baseball media relations director Mike Ashcraft.

This week, Campbell and Ashcraft discuss Kent State's 2-1 series victory at Lipscomb and chat with team co-captain and senior starting catcher David Lyon (Emporium, Pa.). Lyon finished a home run shy of hitting for the cycle and drove in four runs in last Saturday's 16-3 win over Lipscomb. He finished the series batting .500 with six hits and six RBIs. He currently leads the team with eight RBIs this season. He is one of 30 NCAA baseball student-athletes selected as candidates for the 2012 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.

Kent State (4-2) visits Bowling Green, Ky., this weekend (March 3-4) to face off with Western Kentucky in a three-game non-conference series at Nick Denes Field. The series opener was canceled because of severe weather moving through the region Friday (March 2). It will be made up Saturday (March 3) as part of a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. ET (12 p.m. CT).
