Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast With Evan Campbell - Episode 4

The Kent State baseball team is offering its fans an insider's view of everything dealing with the Golden Flashes with another episode of the  'Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast,' co-hosted by junior outfielder Evan Campbell (Beloit, Ohio) and baseball media relations director Mike Ashcraft.

This week, Campbell and Ashcraft chat with redshirt junior third baseman Nick Hamilton (Avon Lake, Ohio). Hamilton led Kent State with a staggering .700 batting average, seven hits and five RBIs last weekend at Western Kentucky. He had a career day at the plate in game two of the Saturday (March 3) doubleheader against the Hilltoppers, going 4-for-5 – including two doubles -- with five RBIs and a run scored to help the Golden Flashes (5-4) record a 13-3 victory. Hamilton followed that effort up by leading the Flashes at the plate Sunday (March 4) with two doubles, upping his series total to four. 'The Swaggin' Wagon' is batting .571 in six games with 12 hits and six RBIs.

Kent State (5-4) journeys to the Southwest to battle New Mexico State in a four-game set this weekend (March 9-11) in Las Cruces, N.M., at Presley Askew Field as the programs lock horns for the first time ever.
