Kent State Baseball's Game At Pepperdine Postponed
Will be made up Monday (March 19) at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT); Sunday (March 18) game will be played at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) as originally scheduled.
MALIBU, Calif. -- A weather front moving through Malibu has forced the postponement of the Saturday (March 17) contest between the Kent State baseball team and host Pepperdine at Eddy D. Field Stadium.
Saturday's contest will be made up as the third game of the series Monday (March 19) at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT). The Sunday (March 18) game will be played at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) as originally scheduled. Junior right-handed starting pitcher Ryan Bores (Strongsville, Ohio) takes the ball goes for his team-leading fourth victory of the season on Sunday while sophomore righty Tyler Skulina (Strongsville, Ohio) gets the nod Monday and will be looking to bounce back from his first defeat of the season last week at New Mexico State.
Kent State (8-6) won the opening game of the three-game weekend set, 2-0, over the Waves (13-5) Friday (March 16). Game time for the Sunday (March 18) matchup is to be announced. Stay tuned to kentstatesports.com for more information.
