2007 Freshman Season

• Made an immediate impact at his defensive line position as a true freshman

• Recorded 19 tackles, eight solo

• Had 3.5 sacks for 21 yards lost, and 5.5 TFL for 24 yards lost

• Was named the team’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in addition to earning the Jack Lambert Cup as the Most Improved Defensive Player at the conclusion of spring practice

• Had two sacks and a forced fumble against Akron Sept. 22

• Added a sack against the Owls for a loss of 10 yards

• Recorded a career-high four stops in back-to-back games at Northern Illinois (Nov. 10) and Temple (Nov. 17)
