Bowl Dates and Mid-American Conference Tie-ins Announced
As Kent State looks to play in a bowl game for the first time in 40 years, it now has a better idea of when and where that historic game could be played.
The Mid-American Conference recently announced its bowl tie-ins for the 2012 season, which includes three primary tie-ins and four secondary ones. The bowl schedule was also recently released.
This past season, MAC football teams went 4-1 in bowl games, earning the most postseason wins in conference history. The conference recently announced a four-year contract extension with the GoDaddy.com Bowl. Under first-year head coach Darell Hazell, the Golden Flashes went 4-4 in conference play, winning four of their final five games.
