• Scored the Golden Flashes first goal in a 2-1 win over No. 8 Syracuse on Sept. 4.

• Racked up five goals and two assists in the final five regular season games of the year

• Totaled a career high five points on two goals and an assist in a 7-4 win over Ball State on Oct. 17

• Had one defensive save

• Earned Kent State's Player's Player Award for the Spring 2010 season 


2009 Sophomore Season

• Started the first two games of the year before being sidelined with a shoulder injury

• Missed the next 14 games

• Returned to the line-up on Oct. 24 vs Central Michigan

• Played in six games on the year with three starts

• Named MAC Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 14, helping KSU to 3-0 shutout at Ohio. Oct. 10

• Named Division I Rookie of the Week by Womensfieldhockey.com on Oct. 14 

• Scored game's only goal in overtime during 1-0 win at Michigan 

• Finished the season with three goals and two assists.

Prior to Kent State

• Member of Waikato Diocesan School 1st XI Field Hockey Team since 2003 and was named captain in 2007

• Johl led Waikato Diocesan to a gold medal in 2005 at the New Zealand College Games, and helped her squad to a first-place finish in the Regional Interschools Girls Premier Grade competition 

• Won the School Junior Sports Award in 2004, and MVP in 2005 and 2006 

• Captain of the U18 Waikato Regional Team and selected to the U21 Midlands Team 

• Also played cricket and soccer.
