Meet Melanie Kahn

2011 Sophomore Season
• Played in 21 games making five starts
• Scored two goals and had one assist
• Tallied both goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 win over Lock Haven on Sept. 9

 

2010 Freshman Season
• Played in 16 games
• Scored two goals on the season
• Scord a goal in her first collegiate game, a 4-1 win by Kent State vs William & Mary on August 28, 2010

Prior to Kent State
• Played forward for three varsity seasons at Serra High School in San Diego, Calif. 
• As a Conquistador, she led the team to Division championships in 2006 and 2009 earning team MVP honors both seasons 
• A senior in 2009, she was named first-team San Diego CIF and was a member of the San Diego High School Sports Association Senior All-Star team 
• She also participated in the US Field Hockey Association Futures program for two years.
• Played for the Rush Field Hockey club team
• Was a member of the Calculus Club and Club Green in high school
