Prior to Kent State

• Competed for Buckeye Gymnastics under coach Kittia Carpenter.

• Won the 2009 Eastern National bar championship after qualifying for the second straight year.

• Earned the 2009 Level 9 regional beam title.

• Also qualified for the 2010 Region 5 Finals in the all-around.

• Daughter of Terry Transue. Sibling is Lauren.

• Earned Merit Roll honors as a sophomore, junior and senior at Westerville High School. Also participated in Key Club.

• Majoring in psychology.
