MAC Basketball Tournament Update
Plans are in full swing for the 2011 Mid-American Conference Tournament at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland. Here's all the information you need to follow the Golden Flashes in the quest to reach the NCAA Tournament!
Tickets
Tickets to the men's tournament are $32 per session if purchased through the Kent State ticket office – a $20 savings off of the face value. Women's tournament tickets are $10 per session. Call (330) 672-2244 or stop by the M.A.C. Center to pick up your tickets today.
Student Tickets
The first 100 students to sign up at the M.A.C. Center Ticket Office will receive a free ticket and bus transportation to each men's tournament game. Be sure to sign up soon as spots are going fast! Buses will depart the M.A.C. Center two hours prior to the start of each game. After all the bus spots are filled, Kent State students still have the ability to purchase a single session ticket for just $10 for each day of men's tournament action.

Wednesday, March 9 – Women vs. Eastern Michigan, 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 10 – Men vs. Buffalo/Central Michigan, 7:00 p.m.
Friday, March 11 – Women's Semifinal, 2:30 p.m.
Men's Semifinal, 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 12 – Women's Championship, 1:00 p.m.
Men's Championship, 6:00 p.m.
Flashes At Flannery's Pub
The Kent State Alumni Association and Intercollegiate Athletics will co-host pre-game celebrations at Flannery's Pub in downtown Cleveland. The pre-game receptions are free, and all fans are welcome. Complimentary appetizers will be provided for fans during the receptions. Also, a representative from the Kent State bookstore will be there so fans can purchase spirit wear. Flannery's Pub is located at 323 Prospect Ave. at East 4th Street, just a short walk from Quicken Loans Arena, making it a convenient place to gather before the game. Here's the tentative schedule:
