Greene Named NABC First Team All-District For A Second Straight Year
Golden Flashes senior forward recognized by NABC
KENT, Ohio — Kent State senior forward Justin Greene (Brooklyn, NY) added a little more hardware to his collection this week when the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) picked him as a First Team All-District 14 selection.
A three-time honoree, this is the second consecutive year Greene has been named to the first team. He was a second team selection as a sophomore in 2010.
For the third consecutive year Greene is leading Kent State in scoring and rebounding averaging 14.1 points and 6.8 boards this season. He is on pace to end his career ranked top five all-time at Kent State in scoring, rebounding, blocks, field goals made and free throws made.
The 6'8" post player is the only active player in the MAC with career totals over 1,000 points, 100 blocks and 100 steals,
The All-District Teams are selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC representing 24 districts.
