of game day and sent on company letterhead to:

media will-call window on the west side of the Memorial Athletic
and Convocation Center.
All photographers covering athletic events in the M.A.C. Center
are to work only at the ends of the court but not under the
baskets. Photographers should not shoot from the sidelines or bench
area. A floor pass must be displayed and visible at all times.
Weekday Interview Schedule
All interviews with Golden Flash players and coaches must be
coordinated through the Kent State Athletic Communications Office
and men’s basketball contact Todd Vatter. Media members
are not permitted to contact Kent State student-athletes
directly.
In-person interviews will be conducted around practice on
non-game days. Coaches and players are not available for interviews
immediately before or during practice without exception.
All freshmen and newcomers are avaliable for interviews once they
have played in a regular season contest.
Members of the media should contact the Athletic Communications
Office for clearance to attend practice. Please check in with
the SID on arrival at the M.A.C. Center.
Media members should call at least one day in advance for phone
interviews, which will be conducted around practice.
Game-day Services
Information such as pre-game notes and programs will be available
one hour prior to gametime in Room 298 of the M.A.C. Center.
Play-by-play as well as halftime and final box scores will be
provided at press row and in the press room.
Media seating on press row is located in Section Q above the south
end zone bleachers. Seat assignments will be made by the
Athletic Communications Office.
A post-game press conference with both coaches will be conducted
in the media room following a 10-minute “cooling-off”
period. Requests to speak with players should be directed to
Kent State men’s basketball contact Todd Vatter or another
member of the Athletic Communications staff. The Kent State locker
room is closed at all times.
Postgame Procedures
Postgame press conferences are held in Room 298 of the M.A.C.
Center. Media personnel will be escorted to the room by a
representative of the Kent State Athletic Communications Office
near the conclusion of the game. After a 10-minute
“cooling-off” period, the visiting head coach and
requested players will be brought to the interview room, followed
by Head Coach Rob Senderoff and selected Kent State players.
For road games, Head Coach Rob Senderoff and players will be
available pursuant to the host team’s postgame
policies. The Kent State locker room is closed to the media
at all times.
Radio Broadcasts
Stations originating games must receive permission to broadcast at
least two weeks prior to the game. Kent State participates in the
reciprocal agreement with flagship stations from other MAC schools.
Kent State will recognize only one station as the
“official” broadcast station for each school; all other
requests, including those for visiting student stations, will be
handled on a space-available basis. One regular phone line and two
ISDN lines are provided to visiting radio stations.
