• Had a solid debut season with the Golden Flashes in 2009-10 and contionued to compete for a spot in the line-up in 2010-11

 

2010-11 Sophomore Season
KSU Academic Excellence Award

• Played in two tournaments averaging 76.17 per round
• Is a member of the of Chi Alpha Sigma honor society

2009-10 Freshman Season

KSU Academic Excellence Award 

• Played in eight total events, including six of Kent State's nine spring tournaments 

• Carded a 77.2 scoring average in 25 rounds for the season 

• Had 10 counters on the year, including two at the NCAA Championship in which the Golden Flashes finished 20th in the nation 

• Shot a season-low 71 in the first round of the David Toms Intercollegiate.  
 
Prior To Kent State
• Attended Hudson High School where he helped the Explorers win the Western Reserve Conference in 2006 and 2007 

• In 2007, also won the Fairfield Federal Invitational, the Sectional Champions and the Keily Cup 

• Individually, he was named to the NEO/WRC first team, first team all district, team most valuable player and one of the Ohio Coaches “Players to Watch” as a senior 

• Set the school and state scoring record with a 64 at the Fairfield Federal Tournament 

• Won the Tri-State Invitational after finishing runner-up his junior year 

• Named to the WRC first team and all-district first team as a junior

• Named to the honor roll with a GPA above 3.5 

• High school teammate of current KSU junior John Hahn.
