• Named one of Golfweek's 2010 preseason freshmen to watch

2010-11 Freshman Season
• Has played in 10 events on the season averaging 75.57 strokes per round
• Shot a final round 75 and had two counters in three rounds for the team at the 2011 NCAA Championship
• Played in all five events during the fall carding 15 rounds
• Shot a season low 220 (73-70-77) at the Louisiana Classics to start the spring season
• Saw action in the Golden Flashes first eight events of the year

Prior to Kent State
• Won medalist honors at the 2010 Investors Group Ontario Amateur Championship  after carding a final round, course-record 65 before securing the title in a two-hole playoff victory 

• Posted a seven-under 281 (73-71-72-65) for the win 

• Also shared medalist honors at the 2010 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in June 

• In the World Cup, closed strong with rounds of 65-66 to complete the tournament at 10-under 274 (73-70-65-66) for the 72-holes 

• In 2009  took third at the Hudson (Ohio) Junior Invitational (72-70) and again at the International Junior Masters in East Aurora, N.Y. 

• In additionhad a third place performance at the Barret Amateur where he shot a four-under 280 (74-68-69-69) at the St. Andrew by the Sea Club in New Brunswick, Canada in July 

• After taking 11th at the Canadian Junior Boys the next week, he went on to earn his fourth, third-place finish in a two-month span at the Williamson Cup in Mid-August at Oak Hills Country Club in Rochester, N.Y.
