2010-11 Senior Season
• Competed in intra-squad qualifers


2009-10 Junior Season
• Played in 12 rounds over four events 

• Made his Kent State debut at the Maryland Intercollegiate 

• Equaled a team low with an opening round 69 

• Shot a season best 227 (83-73-71) to finish tied for 23rd at the Fireline Towson Invitational

• Produced a counter in three of his four opening rounds. 

2008-09 Sophomore Season  - (Fall Season @ Ashland)
• Averaged 73.8 per round in three events for the Eagles in the fall before joining the KSU program in the winter. 

2007-08 Freshman Season (@ Ashland)
• Won the Great Lakes Regional at Hawkshead Golf Links in South Haven, Mich. 

• Shot a seven-under 65 in the in the second round to win the tournament by two strokes (73-65=138) 

• Ashland won the event by one stroke 

• Tied for sixth at the Wayne State Motor City Invitational with a one under 143 (73-70) 

• Tied for 11th at the Findlay Outback Steakhouse Invite 

• Averaged 74.58 for the year. 

High School / Amateur
• Won the 2010 Northeast Ohio Amateur Invitational title , finishing with a three-under par 211 

• Played at Medina High School, earning First Team All-Conference and All-Ashland Gazette honors as a junior and senior

• Took home Second Team All-District accolades both years as well 

• Helped lead the Bees to the Pioneer Conference Championship in 2005 and 2006 

• During his career, Medina made two state appearances, and went 63-3 in dual meets — including a 40-match win streak — while winning 10 team tournaments 

• Individually, Furlong also claimed the Hudson Explorer Tournament as a junior and was a two-time medalist at the North Canton Hoover Tournament 

• Won the championship flight in 70th annual Good Park Junior Golf Tournament with a 36-hole total of 144 

• Tied for fifth in the 2008 Ohio Amateur Qualifier at Elyria CC 

• Finished tied for 14th at the Ohio Amateur with a three round score of 218 (72-72-74).
