Prior to Kent State
• Ranked the 32nd best 2011 recruit in the county by the
American Junior Golf Association
• Won the 2010 Nemacolin Junior Classic with a three-round score of 218 (72-75-71)
• Advanced to the 2010 USGA Junior Amateur for a third consecutive year after shooting a nine-under 135 (66-69) to win his qualifier by six strokes
• Ranked No. 1 in Ohio by AJGA, Golfweek and Junior Golf Scoreboard
• 2010 Rolex/AJGA Honorable Mention High School All-American
• Played for Northmont High School where he was a four-time First Team Greater Western Ohio Conference honoree
• As a junior he averaged 35.64 for Northmont and set school records for both nine (31) and 18 (66) hole rounds
