Kent State sophomore has five top 10 finishes in 11 events

KENT, Ohio – Kent State sophomore Taylor Pendrith (Richmond Hill, Ontario) picked up Mid-American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this spring after his fifth place finish this past week at the Boilermaker Invitational.  

Pendrith shot a 54-hole score of 217 (75-72-70) with a team best 70 (-2) on Sunday to help lead No. 18 Kent State to a third place in the event.  After tying for fifth in the event he now has five top 10s in 11 events on the year and is currently ranked 66 nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

Kent State next heads to the MAC Championship held May 4-6 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
