The No. 18 Golden Flashes have advanced to their third straight NCAA finals next week in Pacific Palisades, Calif. after taking third place at the NCAA Central Regional on Saturday afternoon to finish with a -8, 844 (286-276-282) 54-hole total.

Ben Curtis Named To 2012 MAC Hall of Fame Class
The MAC has announced that former Kent State golf standout Ben Curtis (1997-00) will be part of its Hall of Fame Class of 2012. Curtis is one of six new members to be inducted on Thur., May 17 at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel.

In the first round of the Aggie Invitational last Saturday, junior Brett Cairns shot a 78. He was disappointed, but then something changed his attitude. #$%^ #$%^'I walked off the last green, and (Kent State coach Herb Page) was like, ?Hey, it's not the end of the world. Just smile and go have fun,'' Cairns said. #$%^ #$%^With those words, Cairns said he felt relaxed and got in the zone.
