Softball Records Highest GPA in Team History

The Kent State softball team recorded its highest semester grade point average in team history with a 3.55 during the 2011 Fall Semester.  The 22-member squad also combined for the second highest GPA of any team at Kent State this past fall.

Fourteen Kent State softball players carried a 3.5 GPA or better during the 2011 Fall Semester and three student-athletes (Kim Morgason, Megan McCracken and Kim Kirkpatrick) earned a perfect 4.0. 

The Golden Flashes' highest year-long GPA was a 3.46, which came during the 2008-2009 school year and placed seventh in the nation among Division I softball programs.
