2009-10

• Was thrust into starting lineup as a true freshman at 149 to begin the season

• Went 4-3 in first weekend of college competition with a dual win against Chattanooga and a 3-2 mark at the Hokie Open

• Claimed two more victories the following weekend at Oklahoma Gold Classic

• Won two matches by major decision at Southern Scuffle

• Totaled five major decision victories on the year, including dual meet wins against Cleveland State and Michigan

• Missed several competitions with an injury.

 

Prior to Kent State

• Finished second at 2009 state tournament at 140 pounds closing out a 39-2 season

• Placed sixth at the 2008 state tournament, finishing 45-7 on the year

• Also qualified for state tournament as a sophomore, going 37-11

• Won 25 matches as a freshman and carried a high school career record of 146-30

• Earned All-Ohio Central Conference honors in three straight seasons

• Was a member of three district championship teams at Reynoldsburg.
