2010 – Freshman notes
• Garnered Mid-American Conference all-newcomer team accolades
• Led Kent State with 20 points on nine goals and two assists
• Ended the season with a streak of one goal in four consecutive games
• Team was 4-3-2 when Gironda scored a goal
• Scored game-tying goal in the 89th minute to force overtime against Pittsburgh (Sept. 12)
• Had a goal and an assist in road draw at Cleveland State (Aug. 29)
• Scored Kent State’s first goal of the game on six occasions
• Started 17 of the team’s 18 contests
• Fired a season-high four shots at IUPUI (Sept. 19)
