Kent State Volleyball Falls To Toledo
Kent State looks to get back to its winning ways Saturday against Ball State in its annual Homecoming match at the M.A.C. Center.
KENT, Ohio -- The Kent State volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-16) decision in a Mid-American Conference interdivision match Friday (Oct. 14) at the M.A.C. Center.
The Golden Flashes (8-13, 1-6 MAC) have lost two in a row.
Freshman Tinuke Aderemi-Ibitola (Ellicott City, Md.) led Kent State in kills for the second straight match, tallying eight. Sophomore Aleksandra Nowak (Damnica, Poland) totaled a team-high 20 set assists. The Flashes were led defensively by freshman Bridget Grdina (Mentor, Ohio) and sophomore Hannah Herc (Eden, N.Y.), who recorded 10 digs apiece.
