Alisha Ellis joined the Kent State University athletic staff in August 2021 and promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services in September 2025. Alisha serves as the primary academic counselor for Football and Volleyball. Prior to joining the academic staff, Alisha served as Senior Admissions Counselor in the Kent State Admissions Office beginning in September 2014.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Ellis earned her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland and M.A. in School Counseling at Malone University.
