KENT, Ohio – Kent State led 5-3 heading into the ninth inning Sunday before Miami (Ohio) scored five unanswered runs over the final two frames to leave with an 8-5 victory in ten innings at Schoonover Stadium.

Golden Flashes Swept by Miami (OH)

OXFORD, Ohio – Kent State Softball (14-16, 4-5 MAC) dropped their series ending doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Miami (OH) University. The first game was a hard fought, back-and-forth contest that ended 9-8 with a RedHawk walk-off in extra innings. The Golden Flashes fell by run rule 10-2 in the series finale.
