DEKALB, Ill. – Kent State baseball hits the road this weekend for a three-game Mid-American Conference (MAC) series at Northern Illinois, beginning Friday, April 10, and running through Sunday, April 12.

KENT, Ohio — Kent State overcame an early two-run deficit to defeat rival Akron 12-7 Wednesday night at Schoonover Stadium, improving to 24-7 overall behind a six-run first inning and a dominant middle stretch that put the game out of reach.

Kent State Falls to Akron in Series Sweep

KENT – Kent State Softball (17-19, 7-8 MAC) dropped both games of a doubleheader Wednesday afternoon concluding their series against the University of Akron. The Golden Flashes fell in game one by a final score of 4-2 and by 20-6 in game two.
